In the event of a power outage, your occupants must be able to evacuate immediately.
Emergency lighting is mandatory in building common areas, businesses, offices, and public buildings. They must be properly positioned, powered independently, and regularly tested and maintained. At Bativolt, we install, replace, or upgrade your emergency lighting to ensure safe evacuation, strict RGIE compliance, and complete peace of mind in the event of an inspection or incident.

Clear signage

Non-compliant emergency lighting poses a danger and a legal risk
In any professional building, business, condominium, or public establishment, emergency lighting is a legal requirement. It must allow anyone in the building to evacuate quickly and safely in the event of a power outage, fire, or malfunction of the main network. At Bativolt, we install and upgrade all types of emergency lighting: marker lighting, exit signage, security lighting, and anti-panic lighting. Our installations are powered independently (internal battery), functional upon power outage, and correctly distributed according to evacuation zones. We provide you with a clear certificate, including a positioning plan, power output, battery life, and recommended maintenance period. Whether in common areas, an entrance hall, a business, offices, or a school, you are thus compliant, technically secure, and legally protected. And if a RGIE inspection or fire audit is planned, we support you until unconditional validation.

Your questions about emergency blocks and their RGIE compliance
Find out what the law says, when blocks are mandatory and how to ensure they work properly during an inspection.
They are mandatory in all public buildings (ERP), building common areas, shops, offices, schools, and areas without natural light. In short: anywhere evacuation must remain possible in the event of a power outage.
Yes. Our units, their wiring, their autonomy, and their positioning comply with RGIE requirements and fire regulations. Everything is provided with certification.

They secured their building with compliant and well-placed emergency blocks
Following a fire inspection, we contacted Bativolt. They repositioned all the units, checked their autonomy, and provided a full certificate. The inspection was validated without reservation.
Thomas B., Trustee, Uccle
In our school, the blocks were old and poorly distributed. Bativolt replaced everything and added the missing points. The evacuation is clear, visible, and 100% compliant.
Céline M., Director, Braine-le-Comte
Bativolt conducted an inventory of our commercial building and corrected all the missing components. They also helped us with plans and future maintenance. Very professional.
